Jewels

Jewels can add new traits to Vault Tools.

They can be obtained from gilded chests, completion crates or by crafting them in tool station.

Each jewel is given a size which can roll from 10-35 and this decides how much of the capacity of your Tool will be used up.

You can reduce jewel size by using jewel cutting station. Each cut will remove 1 modifier from jewel and reduce size by 1-4. Jeweler expertise can give you up to 3 free cuts that do not remove modifier.

You can use jewel applicator to apply jewels to tools.

Modifier	Descriptopm
Picking	Tool can break block breakable with pickaxe.
Axing	Tool can break block breakable with axe.
Shovelling	Tool can break block breakable with shovel.
Reaping*	Tool can break block breakable with shears or hoe.
Hammering	Can be applied to Hammers to increase their mining AOE
Wooden Affinity	Breaks wooden chests faster
Gilded Affinity	Instamines gilded chests
Ornate Affinity	Instamines ornate chests
Living Affinity	Instamines living chests
Coin Affinity	Instamines coins
Mining Speed	Increases base mining speed of your tool
Durability	Increases the base Durability of the tool
Copiously	Chance to double ore (100%+ works)
Reach	Increases the range at which the player can interact with blocks.
Vanilla Immortality	Applies a chance for your tool to not take durability outside of vaults. At 100% it will make your tool unbreakable
Trap Disarm Chance	Has a chance to disarm a trapped chest inside the Vaults
Soulbound	makes a tool stay in your inventory even through death!
Item Rarity	Chest will have rarer items
Item Quantity	Chest will have more items
Pulverizing	Turns your tool into a crusher
Smelting	Turns your tool into a furnace
Hydrovoid	Mines fluids
